Mike Zucker is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and earned
a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois in
1990. Starting with a $1,000.00 loan and a workstation in the
basement of a multi unit building on Chicago's North Side Mike's
unique vision, leadership, and drive have helped establish the Peak
Properties as one of Chicago's premier mid-sized real estate
development and management firms. Since founding the company
in 1995, Mike has overseen the development and build-out of over
100 multi unit buildings with over $350 million in total property
values and condominium conversions and new construction
developments with over $100 million in total property value.
In addition, he has run the day to day operations of Peak
Properties, which manages over 3,500 residential units and over one
million square feet of office, retail, industrial and commercial
properties. As a Receiver Mike has worked on behalf on
multiple Chicagoland area banks to secure, renovate, or operate the
property due the property being placed into receivership.
Because he understands the many and varied management options
available to property owners and lenders Mike has earned the trust
and respect of his contemporaries and colleagues in the Chicagoland
real estate community and has cultivated strong and stable
relationships in the lending community as well. In an
uncertain economic climate such as the one we are currently
enduring, Zucker's commitment to, and insistence upon, core values
of integrity, reliability, and customer service offers Peak
Properties' clients the peace of mind of knowing the management
team watching over their property has the right priorities in
mind. Mike has further distinguished himself and Peak
Properties with his ability to offer guidance with respect to
project feasibility and cost management. His keen sense of
evolving market conditions, his hands on approach to new business
development and his strong background in investor relations offer a
wealth of knowledge and experience to Peak Properties' clients.
Mike is deeply committed to community service -- besides
coaching as many sports as he can for his kids, he generously
volunteers his time and resources to the following
organizations: Young Real Estate Professionals, Jewish United
Fund, One Step Up (a summer camp for pediatric cancer patients),
and the United States Holocaust Museum. And yes, he's still
vying for a spot on the U.S. Olympic ping pong team.
