In honor of National Intern Day, we’re celebrating the awesome interns who’ve made an impact at Peak this summer (and in summers’ past).
From bringing fresh perspectives to helping us stay organized, move projects forward, and pull off PPEC events, our interns play a meaningful role in day-to-day life at Peak.
Let’s meet them!

Catie Barcy, Marketing Intern at Peak
Meet Catie, the PR and Advertising grad from DePaul University who has been crushing it with our Marketing team this summer!
From managing social accounts and crafting press releases to designing branded materials for our properties, Catie brings creativity and care to everything she touches. Her behind-the-scenes work helps shape how Peak shows up, both online and off.
In her words, the culture at Peak is welcoming, supportive, and dedicated. She’s working closely with our Marketing Manager, Sarah Rider, who has been a big part of supporting Catie’s growth as a recent grad.
Looking ahead, Catie is especially excited for an August trip to Portland, OR with her good friend (and Peak’s Training & Development Assistant), Nat!

Braden Sedler, Property Management Intern | Mid-Rise High-Rise
Meet Braden, one of the summer interns supporting the mid- and high-rise division at Peak!
This summer, Braden’s been busy inspecting properties, assisting with the onboarding of new assignments (like 3140 N. Clybourn Ave.), and supporting resident relations across the portfolio. One of his favorite parts of the internship? Connecting with property managers, teaming up with fellow interns, and getting hands-on experience during on-site visits to both scattered-site and mid-rise buildings.
Outside the office, Branden recently completed a triathlon with his dad–talk about commitment!
He’ll head back to New Orleans soon to begin his junior year at Tulane University where he majors in Finance. Everyone at Peak is wishing him a strong finish to the summer and an even stronger fall semester!

Joey Rabinowitz, Property Management Intern | Mid-Rise
Meet Joey, an intern in the mid-rise division here at Peak. We were thrilled to welcome him back to Peak for his third summer!
A rising junior at The Ohio State University, Joey is putting his Real Estate and Urban Analytics major to good use. From conducting site inspections and resolving resident concerns to coordinating community events and managing EliseAI communications, Joey’s been a key player in keeping our mid-rise properties running smoothly. He’s also been instrumental in overseeing unit turn quality and helping make sure every new resident has a great first impression.
This summer, Joey enjoyed attending the SERVPRO golf outing with his team, and credits Regional Property Manager, Rob Green, for being a great mentor and making a lasting impact on his internship experience this summer.
Outside of his internship, Joey kicked off the summer by running the Capital City Half Marathon in Columbus, OH.
Joey, thank you for all that you do!

Simon Weil, Property Management Intern | Supera
Closing out our intern spotlights, meet Simon. Simon is one of our summer interns supporting the Supera team.
A rising sophomore at Michigan State University, Simon has spent the summer getting a real-world crash course in property operations: running materials to properties, conducting inspections, interacting with residents, and even supervising repairs.
He described Peak as casual, inclusive, and fun, and says interacting with residents, vendors, and people in our office has made every day interesting and different.
Simon’s long-term goal? To start his own commercial real estate company focused on sustainable building practices, a passion he’s already exploring through his studies.
We’re proud to support the next generation of leaders. Happy National Intern Day to all the interns out there!
